Monday - Beach and the Nationals vs. the Mets

OK, more boring beach pictures. I know this is cruel since Richmond got snow this morning. Sorry!

Ok, gotta  GO. we are driving down to see the Washington Nationals play the New York Mets tonight.

Tomorrow, Benji and Matthew may get surfing lessons! Stay tuned.

Dad and the Bubbers play a little whiffle ball on the beach!

Johnny....what else? Working on that tan!

Monday Night Baseball - NY Mets vs. Washington Nationals
They gave a pre-game tribute to Hall of Fame Mets catcher Joe Carter, who recently passed away.  He was always known as "the Kid", even when he was in his late 30's.  He always had a smile on his face and was loved by all. He was also a very committed Christian.

Pre-game National Anthem sung by this young choir.

Former Cardinals pitching phenom, turned outfielder when he couldn't control his pitches, now plays for the Nationals at 33 years of age. He hit a home run on the at-bat below.
Bryce Harper (#34) is the #1 or #2 prospect in all of baseball. He is expected to be a great player for a long time as he is a 5-tool player (fields, throws, steals bases, hits for average, and hits for power). The boys almost got his autograph before the game. He quit signing at the person in line before Matthew.  Oh well, we have two more Nationals games later this week. Maybe they will get his prized signature then.
